Weekly newsletter
A little shift, every week
straight to your inbox
Some weeks it's a script for the conversation you've been avoiding. Some weeks it's permission to stop white-knuckling everything. Always short, always human, and never a sales pitch dressed up as care.
- One ideaA single, usable insight — not a wall of text you'll never finish.
- One toolSomething concrete to try this week with your teen, partner, or yourself.
- One honest noteWhat's actually landing in the therapy room lately, in plain language.

What people say it feels like
Like a text from someone who gets it
No 3,000-word essays, no urgency, no "10 signs your teen secretly hates you." Just the kind of thing I'd say to you across the room.
Newsletter questions
Before you subscribe
How often will I hear from you?
Once a week. If a week is quiet, you get nothing rather than filler.
What's actually in it?
One idea, one tool you can try, and an honest note about what's coming up in the therapy room.
Is it free?
Yes, completely free.
Will you share my email?
Never. Your email is used only to send the newsletter.
Can I unsubscribe?
Any time — there's an unsubscribe link in every email.
Does subscribing make me a client?
No. Signing up doesn't create a therapist–client relationship, and the newsletter isn't clinical advice.
Is it appropriate for teens?
It's written for adults — parents, partners, and individuals — though plenty of it is teen-friendly.
Can I reply to it?
Yes, replies come to Sheri. For anything urgent, please use the crisis resources on the contact page.
Do I need to be in Alberta?
No. The newsletter is open to anyone; therapy sessions are limited to Alberta.
How do I book a session instead?
Head to the contact page and send a consult request.
